Nature Based Abstraction

This is just the starting point for another interactive installation piece I'm working on for my Alternative Media class. I'll be making cubes out of canvas and stuffing them. This image is most likely going to be cut up later today so I can start planning the back of the cubes which will consist of image transfers.

One of Three

For my Issues of Representation class we have to do 3 paintings based off of a photo we've taken. I finished the first of the three yesterday and went with the abstract one first due to my general lack of enthusiasm when it comes to working realistically. I've been doing a bunch more sketches in the same vain, using the same imagery and eventually want to get around to doing more paintings similar to this one.

Second Semester Projects-In Beginning Stages
